Issue Description: When updating the firmware on Windows 11, the device is not recognized correctly, causing the firmware update to fail. This is typically due to a compatibility issue between the system’s automatically installed MIDI driver and the firmware update tool.

Solution: Manually switch the driver to the generic “USB Audio Device” driver.

Step 1: Open Device Manager

Right-click the Start Menu (or press Win + X) and select Device Manager ;

Locate Sound, video and game controllers in the list and expand it;

Find your device in the list.

Step 2: Update Driver

Right-click device and select Update driver from the context menu.

Step 3: Browse for Drivers Manually

In the pop-up window, select “Browse my computer for drivers.”

Step 4: Pick from a List

Select “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.”。

Step 5: Select USB Audio Device

Select “USB Audio Device.” in the list ;

Click Next to complete the installation.

Note: If you don’t see “USB Audio Device” in the list, ensure that the “Show compatible hardware” checkbox is checked.

Step 6: Rerun to the Firmware Update

Once the driver has been switched, reopen the firmware update tool to successfully update your device.
